Righteous Rags® is a lifestyle apparel brand of high quality sportswear. Designer / Owner Michael G. Watkins started Righteous Rags as a t-shirt design company in 1995. Since then, he has provided custom-design private label garments to luxury brands. Fusing together luxury, sport and comfort is the vision behind Righteous Rags.
"I wanted apparel relevant to wear both actively and for relaxation - whether golfing, fishing, and riding or leisurely - shirts that I could wear wherever I went and yet are relevant, comfortable and feel like luxury," says Michael.
Apparel is designed in Rochester, New York, manufactured overseas, imported and inventoried in Los Angeles. Righteous Rags offers two labels. Righteous Rags Golf label is offered within the classic golf cluster. In 2006, the label Righteous Rags True Sportswear was launched with plans to sell online and through retail stores.
Righteous Rags is a licensee of Supima®, the world's finest cotton. Supima® offers special advantages of extra-long staple Pima cotton grown exclusively in the America. Yarns and fabrics made from Supima® cotton produce softer, silkier and more lustrous fabrics.
